
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) released from industrial facilities pose serious risks to the environment and human health. At Foreco Engineering, we deliver reliable and effective solutions for controlling and eliminating these emissions by using specially developed reactive chemical scrubbing solutions (VOC Sorbent Solution).
In our system, VOC-laden air is collected into a single channel and directed to scrubber units. There, the polluted air comes into counter-current contact with chemical solutions sprayed from above, reacting on packed columns and being converted into harmless compounds. Compounds not fully removed through this reaction are directed to filter cabinets for a second treatment stage, where both physical adsorption and reactive filter media provide additional control.
For enhanced safety, the air transferred to the filter unit is diluted to prevent possible exothermic reactions. At the end of this process, contaminated air with a high VOC load is purified and safely released into the atmosphere.
